Dogs have always been and remain " mans best friend"
and mankind, occasionally, is dog's.
Oft-quoted legends portray this special relationship:
God summoned a beast from the field and He said,
" Behold man, created in my image. Therefore, adore him.
You shall protect him in the wilderness, shepherd his flocks,
watch over his children, accompany him wherever he may go,
even unto civilization.
You shall be his ally, his slave and his companion.
"To do these things," God said, "I endow you with these
instincts uncommon to other beasts: faithfulness, devotion,
understanding surpassing those of man himself.
Lest it impair your loyalty, you shall be blind to the
faults of man. Lest it impair your understanding, you are
denied the power of words.
Let no fault of language cleave an accord beyond that
of man with any other beast or even man with man.
Speak to your master only with your mind and through honest eyes.
Walk by his side, sleep in his doorway, forage for him, ward
off his enemies,carry his burdens, share his afflictions,
love him and comfort him.
And in return for this, man will fulfill your needs and wants
which shall be only food, shelter and affection.
"So be silent and be a friend to man.
Guide him through the perils along the way to the
land that I have promised him.
This shall be your destiny and your immortality.
" So spake the Lord. And the dog heard and was content.

And I was there to see it in person and celebrate
I raise Health tested AKC Champion blood line pet and show prospect
Chinese Crested puppies. My dogs are with in the standard set fourth by the
American Kennel Club. Most of my adults are on the smaller side of the standard which is my personal preference.
All puppies come with a health guarantee and I offer life time support for any questions you may have from grooming tips to ear taping on each puppy.
Any puppy purchased from Baldpark will always be welcome to come home to Baldpark should the need arise.
All of my adults that are bred are Clear/Normal for the following
OFA Patella certified Normal for Patellar Luxation unless under one year of age and not old enough to be tested.
Had their eyes cerfed and tested Clear. All of my dogs regardless
of age have been DNA tested for eye disease PRCD PRA
and bleeding disorder vWD and found Negative.

As a professional groomer and owner of a grooming salon for 9 years I would like to STRONGLY recommend that if you are looking to buy a puppy
PLEASE choose a breeder that health tests their dogs.
I see dogs on a daily basis that are crippled at a young age due to bad Patella's or blind because of eye disease PRCD PRA.
I realize their is a wide range in pricing differences
between breeders of Chinese Crested's
I myself, charge what I feel my puppies and services are worth.
However, the money you save or loose buying a puppy from a breeder that does not health test will not be important or worth much when that puppy is struck down with a debilitating disease.
The vet bills will be tremendous, but they will be small in comparison to the heartache you will have watching your beloved dog suffer needlessly.
Health testing can be expensive but the price is small
compared to the alternative.
